The McDonald's Insurance Program is an employee benefit program designed to help employees pay for everyday health care and dental expenses. The plan also offers the option to purchase life insurance and short-term disability insurance.

McDonald's Profit Sharing and Savings Plan consists of a 401(k) that lets you save on a tax-deffered basis for your future. McDonald's adds a match on a portion of your savings, and may add a discretionary profit sharing match. McDonald's will match your contributions with $3 for each $1 you contribute on the first 1% of pay you put in the plan, and $1 for each $1 on the next 4% you contribute. This means a total possible match of 7% on the first 5%. The company may make a discretionary profit sharing match of 0% to 4% of your eligible pay to your 401(k) account. You may choose from nine investment funds and you are always 100% vested in your account.

McResource Line is a confidential referral service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Enrolled employees have free, unlimited access to professional consultants who can help them find answers to any question, problem or issue they or their families may have. From child care to affordable housing or financial aid for college, no problem is too large; no question is too small.

McDonald's Gold Card offers crew and managers special discounts at more than 60 nationally recognized retailed stores and service providers.

Through an arrangement with Corporate America Family Credit Union, McDonald's employees can take advantage of a full service credit union with offices nationwide. Some of the benefits include favorable loan and savings rates plus free checking accounts. Other than setting up the proper payroll deductions, there is no cost to use these services.

The Cash Incentive Plan is an important part of total compensaiton for restaurant management. This program represents variable compensation paid in quarterly cash payments, with each employee's rewards determined by his or her restaurant's success in Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC), guest counts, profit and people.

All salaried managers and certified swing managers are eligible for vacation after the completion of one year of service. In addition, McDonald's offers several holidays each year (number varies by region).

The Education Assistance program helps support your effort to further your education and become even more effective in your job. The program provides partial reimbursement of eligible courses related to your present job. To qualify for reimbursement, classes must be taken at an accredited two or four year public or private college or university; business, technical or vocation school; or graduate or post-graduate school. To be eligible, you must have worked consecutively for six full months in an eligible position.
